Air Force Cycling Classic

Since the race's inception in 1998, Revolution Cycles has been the exclusive bike shop sponsor of the Air Force Cycling Classic, which takes place in Arlington, Virginia each summer. Join us Saturday, June 8th in Clarendon and Sunday, June 9th in Crystal City for the DC area's premier cycling event.


Arlington Transportation Partners / BikeArlington

Arlington Transportation Partners provides transportation expertise and services to businesses, residential communities, developers, and hoteliers in Arlington, Virginia. For people who live, work, and play in Arlington, ATP and BikeArlington provide programs that support alternate means of transportation. Revolution Cycles is proud to be the first business to partner with ATP for the new “Bike Rewards” program, which is designed to encourage employees of local businesses to commute to work. We also work with ATP to provide support for events and product testing. These guys and gals are a dynamic bunch and are working hard to get more bikes on the road in this area and to do so safely.

Clarendon Alliance

As a member of the Clarendon Alliance, Revolution Cycles actively engages with residents and other business in the Clarendon community. The Clarendon Alliance promotes the health and vitality of Clarendon, Arlington’s original downtown commercial district, which is home to Revolution’s flagship store.

DC Tri Club

The DC Triathlon Club is comprised of a community of triathletes in the DC area, and the club organizes training rides, educational events and social gatherings for triathletes of all abilities and backgrounds. Revolution Cycles sponsors and hosts educational clinics for the DC Tri Club, including events for the New Triathlete Program (NTP).

George Washington University Police Department

If you are on the George Washington University campus, you will see the UPD riding Trek bicycles provided by Revolution Cycles. We are proud to provide bikes and service to the men and women who are committed to keeping the GWU campus safe.

Kettler provides both on-site bike share access for its residents as well as access to the Revolution Cycles City Hub bike share program for its employees. League of American Bicyclists

Named as one of eight Shops of the Year for 2008 by the League of American Bicyclists, Revolution Cycles is honored to be a Dealer Member of the League and to be working on future events with the organization. The League’s mission is to promote bicycling for fun, fitness and transportation and work through advocacy and education for a bicycle-friendly America. The National Bike Summit, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in the spring of 2010 in DC, is the cornerstone of the League’s advocacy program.

National Bicycle Dealers Association (NBDA)

Revolution Cycles is a member of the National Bicycle Dealers Association. This organization's mission is to inspire and serve the specialty bicycle retailer through education, communication, research and advocacy. We believe in the NBDA and share the organization's core values that include the importance of the bicycle, the vital role of locally-owned businesses, commitment to excellence in business operation, and protecting the planet.

Phoenix Bikes

Phoenix Bikes empowers youths to become social entrepreneurs through direct participation in a financially and environmentally sustainable nonprofit bike shop that serves the community. The organization’s vision is to provide a fun, safe, and challenging environment for local youth through building and running a great community bike shop. We believe that this is a unique way for young leaders to learn teamwork, to explore social entrepreneurship, to develop business and leadership skills, and to serve others. Revolution Cycles provides donations and event support to Phoenix Bikes because we’re also passionate about giving back to Arlington’s cycling community! Phoenix’s phrase of “building young leaders and sweet bikes” says it all. A truly fantastic and impressive organization.

Potomac Pedalers

Potomac Pedalers

The Potomac Pedalers Touring Club is a non-profit educational, recreational and social organization for bicycling enthusiasts and the largest cycling club in the DC area. PPTC coordinates many rides, including weekly rides as well as special events, and Revolution Cycles provides tech support at several PPTC events.


Ride 2 Recovery

Ride 2 Recovery is an incredible organization that works to support the rehabilitation of our country's wounded veterans through cycling activities. Revolution Cycles in committed to assisting injured soldiers in their efforts to integrate cycling in their recovery process, and we are very proud to provide tech support for the Memorial Challenge, a six-day event that begins at the Arlington National Cemetery in DC and culminates in Virginia Beach.

Team Z

As an organization that focuses on helping its members develop healthy lifestyles through ongoing triathlon training programs, Team Z is an ideal partner for Revolution Cycles. Team Z creates a sense of community within its membership, and Revolution supports the organization by being a sponsor as well as hosting educational clinics for these triathletes. 

Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA)

The mission of the Washington Area Bicyclist Association is to create a healthy, more livable region by promoting bicycling for fun, fitness, and affordable transportation. WABA advocates for better bicycling conditions and transportation choices for a healthier environment, and educates children, adults, and motorists about safe bicycling. By offering WABA members a 10% discount on parts and accessories in our stores, we show our support and appreciation for WABA’s work in the local cycling community. WABA organizes DC’s annual “Bike to Work Day” in May, and Revolution provided support at the Rosslyn and Crystal City pit stops in 2010. If you’re searching for a way to support local bike advocacy, WABA’s your one-stop shop and will do great things with your contribution.

World TEAM Sports

World T.E.A.M. Sports

World T.E.A.M. Sports brings together athletes, with and without disabilities, to assist those with disabilities realize their own abilities, and to use sports to help men, women and children reach accomplishments that they never thought possible. Revolution Cycles provides tech support for World T.E.A.M. Sports, including for the Face of America ride that honors our disabled veterans as well as active duty military.

Bike Share Programs

Revolution Cycles has been assisting businesses and organizations in developing bike share programs for several years. Currently, the Department of State, Stanley Associates in Arlington, Kettler Property Management, and The JBG Companies have Revolution-supported bike share programs, and the House of Representatives recently concluded an innovative and successful two-year program. By providing and maintaining bicycles for these organizations, Revolution Cycles helps employers to provide an easy, efficient and environmentally-friendly transportation option during the work day.
