Bontrager's World Cup DHers needed grippy tires for racing in muddy, wet conditions, so they came up with the G-Mud DH. It rolls on a wide open design to shed mud quickly with nice tall knobs that cut through the muck to hook up to drier dirt below. And the knobs are actually trimmable so you can customize the ride for specific conditions. The DH-worthy 2-ply casing uses Bonty's Stability Control so the tire doesn't get all squirrelly when you stuff it into corners.
