These are only the second pair of cycling shoes I've ever owned, but I have nothing but great things to say about them. I was able to find these in white for under $200, which delivered a lot of bang for my buck. The white does get dirty quickly, especially the mesh parts, which is difficult to clean. I suppose that's the only negative I have to report. I'm using these with Specialized Body Geometry insoles, and had my LBS (Moment Cyclesport) shim the cleats during my fitting to ensure proper foot and knee alignment. With this configuration, I can ride as many as 70 miles (I've never ridden further than than on a single ride) in total comfort. No burning. No numbness. Honestly my feet feel better with them on. Sometimes when I get home from a ride, I leave them on while I'm recovering on the couch. I have a fast bike (Giant Propel Advanced SL) and these shoes feel like a natural extension of the bike. I feel totally connected to my ride with my Sidis.
I bought Sidi bike shoes 20years ago, best shoes I ever had. Glad to pay $200 plus for new Sidis. First problem when I got them home - upper straps not long enough with winter socks. Had to purchase extenders, $25 per shoe. Now, first summer of hard use, the buckles snapped and popped when I stood to climb and finally exploded (broke). I am now strapping electrical tape around these $200+ shoes to hold them on my feet ( until I can get to the shop and order expensive buckles). Pretty disgusted with Sidi after years of telling everyone who would listen how great Sidi shoes were.
